DES MOINES, Iowa — Two men of Myanmar nationality were taken into custody early Friday morning after local law enforcement allegedly caught them with burglary equipment in Polk County.
Deputies with the Polk County Sheriff’s Office (PCSO) arrested Pah Kho, 37, and Quar Leh, 31, during the early morning hours of August 28, 2026. Officers booked both individuals into the Polk County Jail.
According to official jail records, both men face the following charges:
Possession of Burglars’ Tools (Iowa Code § 713.7) – Classed as an aggravated misdemeanor, carrying a penalty of up to two years in prison upon conviction.
Interference with Official Acts (Iowa Code § 719.1)
Trespass – 1st Offense (Iowa Code § 716.8)
Court records show Pah Kho’s bail was set at $2,000 cash or surety. Quar Leh remains held on a combined $7,000 bond due to additional pending counts or prior cases.
