A document currently circulating online contains an article attributed to Pencilo that criticizes Levi Sap Nei Thang, accusing her of misleading involvement in oil and gas business matters. The article was reportedly written in 2021 and has recently resurfaced across social media platforms.

Pencilo is widely known as a fundraiser supporting Myanmar’s Spring Revolution movement, while Levi Sap Nei Thang has represented Myanmar in diplomatic and international platforms through non-political engagements.

Observers note that Pencilo has previously criticized and publicly opposed individuals who do not align with or voice support for her positions.

In contrast, Levi Sap Nei Thang has stated since her early career that she would not be involved in political activities. Records indicate that she did not attend an award ceremony hosted by the Military Government in 2009, nor did she attend an award event associated with Aung San Suu Kyi in 2018. She has consistently described her work as focused on charity initiatives and diplomatic representation rather than political advocacy.

Recently, the comment sections of Levi Sap Nei Thang’s social media platforms have been filled with references to the circulating article. As in previous instances, Levi Sap Nei Thang has not publicly responded.
